Sat 10/01/2016 Victims' Fund Run 5K Run-Walk/1 Mile Walk Baltimore, MD (Rash Field) 9:00 a.m. The Victims' Fund Run was created to maintain the emergency fund that is available to crime victims who are in need of immediate assistance covering the cost of victimization. Funds will cover expenses such as broken windows and locks, replacement of identification cards and medical prescriptions for those victims who meet the criteria.

Sat 10/01/2016 Top of The South Roan Mountain, TN 7:30 a.m. Race from the community of Roan Mountain, TN to the finish at the Rhododendron Gardens at the near summit of Roan Mountain in NC (6209 ft). You’ll run 14 miles, with 3623 ft of elevation gain up one of the 6,000 ft mountains on the TN/NC border. To put this race in perspective, according to our research, Top of The South is the highest elevation road race finish in the Southeast USA. 100% paved roads.

Sat 10/01/2016 WOUNDED WARRIOR CAREGIVER 5K Alexandria, VA 9:00 am This event will raise money for Operation Homefront to help caregivers who are struggling to care for our soldiers. The 4th Annual 5K Run with the continuing objective of providing much needed funding for Operation Homefront's caregiver program. This non-profit national organization exists to provide emergency financial and other assistance to military families of service members and wounded warriors with 92 percent of expenditures going directly to programs.

Sun 10/02/2016 The Navy Mile on Pennsylvania Avenue Washington, DC (Navy Memorial, Pennsylvania Avenue) 8:30 a.m. An exciting one mile race on historic Pennsylvania Avenue celebrating the Sea Services. The Navy Mile on Pennsylvania Avenue presented by USAA is a community celebration, kicking off the United States Navy birthday week. A Fun Run/Walk kicks-off at 8:00 Age group heats commence every 15 minutes, at 8:30 a.m.

Sun 10/02/2016 Scarecrow Classic 5K and 1 Mile Walk/Roll/Fun Run Baltimore, MD (University of Maryland, Baltimore County 9 a.m. This event, hosted by the Brain Injury Association of Maryland (BIAMD) will rally survivors, families, friends, and supporters around the common goal of raising awareness about brain injury within the community and providing much needed funding to support the programs and initiatives of BIAMD.

Airy, MD (Linganore Winecellars) 8:00 a.m. The day's events include a 10-miler at 8:15 a.m.; and a 5-miler at 8:30 a.m. This is a true cross country course with generally rolling hills and one short, particularly challenging up-hill. The running surface is a mix of grassy fields and good single track through the woods.

Sat 10/08/2016 13th Annual Stonewall Jackson 20-Mile Ambulance Run Spotsylvania, Virginia 07:15 am Embark on an adventure through history in the 14th Annual Stonewall Jackson 20-Mile Ambulance Run! Participants will travel through historic Spotsylvania County featuring the beautiful Spotsylvania Wilderness and Chancellorsville Battlefields. Runners will embark on the same journey as the ambulance that carried General Stonewall Jackson from the battlefield to the hospital when he was injured on May 2, 1863! Don't miss this GREAT run, FUN adventure, and HISTORIC community! "Why time your run, When you can run through time?!" Participants will be able to pick up their Welcome Packets at the Marshall Center the morning of the race. All participants will receive detailed information, maps, directions, parking info, etc. via mail at least 2 weeks prior to the race. Late registrants will receive information via email.
