Sat 03/25/2017 Spring Thaw Trail Series at Early Mountain Vineyards Madison, VA (Early Mountain Vineyards) 8:00 a.m. The day's events include a 5K. Wine at the finish line! We've partnered with the folks at Early Mountain Vineyards in Madison, VA to bring you a fun-filled day of trail running and then settling in with a fine Virginia wine in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Early Mountain, part of the Monticello Wine Trail, is set on a historical site with gorgeous grounds and a downright awesome tasting room. The onsite trails you'll be hitting up are a perfect length for a single loop 5K and two loop 10K course. ? Virginia brings the fantastic trails! Try out some of the best on offer at our 5th annual Spring Thaw Trail Series. The series is three weekends - March 11, 18, 25 - of trail runs on three different trail networks to challenge all abilities. Race once or a few times, or tackle all three. ? We will capture race times with our bib chip timing system as you enjoy the dedicated private single-track trails at Willowsford, the truly awesome trails at Conway Robinson State Forest, and the smooth track and beautiful scenery at Early Mountain. The Rebel Run is hosted by the Douglas S. Freeman Athletic Booster Club. All proceeds benenfit the athletic program and student athletes of Douglas Freeman High School. The 5k will begin and end at Freeman HS with the course covering the surrounding neighborhoods. Sun 03/26/2017 B&A Trail Marathon and Half-Marathon Severna Park, MD (Severna Park High School) 7:30 am The course will run approximately two miles on residential streets with the remainder on the B & A Trail; an asphalt “rails to trails” bike and running path. There is one significant hill on the marathon course. The course is USATF certified (Boston qualifier). Volunteers will monitor all turns and most intersections. The course will be closed to automobile traffic, but there are numerous road crossings and the trail IS open to other runners, walkers and bicyclists. Please be alert and courteous. Race Expo - The race expo will be on Saturday March 25th, 2017 at Severna Park High School from 10:00AM - 5:00PM featuring the Annapolis Strider's merchandise, local running stores, and other vendors. You may register for the race at the expo if the field is not full.

Sun 03/26/2017 Mission 10 Miler Frederick, MD (Harry Grove Stadium) 2:00 p.m. This ten-mile certified course is a primarily flat out-and-back route that begins at Harry Grove Stadium. All runners will have chipped timing devices on their bibs, and will have checkpoints at the starting line, the halfway point, and the end. The Frederick Rescue Mission seeks to rescue lives from poverty, homelessness and chemical dependency. Sun 04/02/2017 Oy Vey 5K Run and Walk Rehoboth Beach, DE (Junction Breakwater Trail - Cape Henlopen State Park) 9:00 a.m. The day's events include a1 Mile Dog-Friendly Fun Walk / Kids Races. Proceeds of the Oy Vey 5k benefit the educational programs at Seaside Jewish Community. This past fall the students were able to attend an educational day at the Holocaust Memorial Museum in DC. The race will have plenty of infamous “kugel” to nosh (eat) and treats to tempt your palate. If there is something the Jewish Community knows how to do it’s cook and feed the masses. In addition, April 10th is Mitzvah Day (Good Deeds Day). We are asking those participating to bring packages of new socks or undergarments for children ages 2-12. Any new or unworn clothing will be accepted.

Sun 04/02/2017 6th Annual Red Shoe Shuffle 5K Run and Walk Baltimore, Maryland 9 AM The Ronald McDonald House Charities Baltimore presents the 6th Annual Red Shoe Shuffle 5K Run and Walk on Sunday, April 2, 2017, beginning at 9 am. This year’s event will begin at the Ronald McDonald House at 635 W. Lexington Street where shufflers will wind their way through downtown and the Inner Harbor taking in lots of Baltimore sites before returning to the finish line at the Ronald McDonald House. Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers of the race, largest team, top individual and team fundraisers.
