Sun 05/28/2017 All Fruit Relay (4 x 2 Mile Relay) Columbia, MD (Oakland Mills High School) 9:00 a.m. The All Fruit Relay occurs each Memorial Day weekend at Oakland Mills Middle School. Participants consist of a team of 4 runners, each of whom successively run one loop on the 2-mile course. The relay baton is a piece of fruit (choose wisely). Low key race - race day registration only - $1 per person.

This is a fun, family-friendly event, with something for everyone! A 6K walk/run and for our kids: a 1K walk/run and Tot Sprint (9:30 a.m.). Stone Harbor's beautiful Diamondback Terrapins crossing the town’s roads in search of an area to nest inspired the name of our race, and we will, once again, be donating a portion of our proceeds to the Diamond Terrapin Program at The Wetlands Institute.

Colleen attended Grace Episcopal Day School in Kensington and WJ High School in Bethesda. She was born with biliary atresia (BA), and died in 2013 at age 19 due to complications with liver disease. She was a sophomore at the Univ of Michigan. Proceeds go to Johns Hopkins Pediatric Liver Center, organ donation.
