Sat 05/04/2024 Eastern Shore Sprint 6-Hour Adventure Race Queen Anne, MD (Tuckahoe State Park) 9:00 a.m. Come join us for our 3rd annual edition of our spring sprint adventure race! This year, we are excited to announce a beautiful new venue at Tuckahoe State Park in Queen Anne, MD! Enjoy up to 6 hours of mountain biking, trekking, and paddling. This race is once again very completable for enthusiastic beginners and intermediate level racers, and yet still has enough strategic decisions and challenging optional points to interest our most advanced racers that are looking to battle it out to clear the full course and take first place! Enjoy scenic views and wildlife as you paddle, bike, and trek your way to the finish! This race uses rogaine scoring . For those new to adventure racing this means that the race is determined by who can obtain all mandatory checkpoints and the highest number of optional checkpoints within the prescribed time window for the course (6 hours in this case). This is a great way to allow racers of all fitness levels to compete in the same event, since slower and newer racers can strategically choose which checkpoints to skip if they are running low on time. This is a USARA sanctioned event. DIVISIONS: Co-Ed Team (2 - 4 racers). Male Team (2 - 4 racers). Female Team (2 - 4 racers). Solo Male. Solo Female. DISCIPLINES/DISTANCES: Biking: 12-18 miles. Trekking: 6-10 miles. Paddling: 2-5 miles. Finish Cut-off: 3:00 p.m. See website for complete event details, including Gear Guidelines.
