  • Terry McLaughlin outkicked frequent winner Ted Poulos in the 1500m, but Ted came back to win the 3000m
  • Brad Rippey ran to the race from work to win the 5000m
  • Ted's daughter Paige Poulos took first among women in the 1500m
  • Jeanette A. Novak was the only women in the 3000m, and Karen Young helped in the 1500m and won in the 5000m
