Before the races, we held our annual meeting and elected our 2019 officers: Jay Jacob Wind, president; Kirk Gordon, vice-president; Roxane Sismanidis, vice-president; Bill Stahr, vice-president; Bob Platt, secretary; James Scarborough, treasurer

Because the gate was down to enter East Potomac Park, we ran one and two loops of an alternate course, designed long ago by Peter Blank | GMAP

Chad Merrill won both the first race, and Karsten Brown won the second, with Dee Nelson first among women in both

Jeanette A. Novak brought Christmas candies for all to share

Tidal Basin Run presents New Year's Eve Eve Eve Races on Saturday, December 29, with 1500m warm-up at 2:15 PM; and 3000m, 5000m, 8000m at 2:30 PM

$5.00 for Tidal Basin Run members, $10.00 for non-members -- bring a gift item to share, and no one will go home empty-handed!

Start and finish at Madison Community Center, 3829 North Stafford Street, Arlington VA. Registration opens at 2:00 PM
