  • Tidal Basin Run, a partner of the President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports, hosted its post-Thanksgiving Sweet Pototo Pie runs on USATF-certified course DC04001RT with appropriate modifcations.
  • Ted Poulos won both the 1500m and the 3000m, ahead of Terry McLaughlin and Cindy Cohen
  • John Way won the 5000m after a long layoff due to a broken arm
  • Mike Cannon led the 10000m
