Ted Poulos won both the Kentucky Derby and Preakness races, but John Way pulled away in the Belmont Stakes.

Elizabeth J. Row topped the fillies in the Kentucky Derby, and Julie Bruns in a "Witness the Fitness" shirt won the Preakness and Belmont Stakes.
