  • Tidal Basin Run, a partner of the President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports, hosted its sixth holiday run of the year on USATF-certified course DC04001RT with appropriate modifcations.
  • Ted Poulos won the 1500m and the 3000m, John Way won the 5000m, with Dee Nelson first (and only) among women, and Karsten Brown won the 10000m.
