  • Tidal Basin Run, a partner of the President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports, hosted its seventh Presidential Fitness Runs of 2012 on Sunday, December 30. on USATF-certified course DC04001RT with appropriate modifcations.
  • Ted Poulos won both the 1500m and 5000m; Dionis Macy Gauvin chased Ted in the 1500m to finish second overall; Michael Mills won the 3000m; Dee Nelson won the women's 3000m; and Hallie Kerrigan, age 8, won the women's 5000m.
