Danny Bennett, Malcolm Lester, Ted Poulos, and Brad Rippey formed a tight pack for the first kilometer before Bennett pulled away to win in 9:42.

Rebecca Nathan ran her first Tidal Basin 3K and won in 11:34 among the women, with Edda Santiago just 3 seconds back.

John Way directed, and Bob Newburgh ably assisted. Once again, we ran around the puddles -- and a picnic -- for safety.
