Join us on October 8 for a morning 5K run through Glen Echo, followed by an exciting leapfrog event that will be submitted to the Guinness Book of World Records in London. Help us break the world record together!

Beginning at historic Glen Echo Park, Discovery Creek's first annual 5K run, Leap for Discovery Creek, is for competitive racers and families alike.

The museum will also debut its new interactive immersion exhibition for children, Out on a Limb, on Sunday. Your children will be able to experience life inside a tree, experience the forest from the top down, and get a termite's-eye view of the root system beneath their feet!

Fox Meteorologist, Sue Palka is honorary chair of the Leap For Discovery Creek.
