| START: On South Lakes Drive in front of
South Lakes High School. 8 AM for 10 Miler. The 5K will start at
8:05 AM FINISH: South Lakes High School COURSE: The course is certified. It is run on paved roads with gently rolling hills. Sanctioned by USATF and the Potomac Valley Athletic Association. Map of 10M Course NEW THIS YEAR:Runners will receive a technical SportsScience T-shirt. ENTRIES: Send entry form with $22 fee payable to RacePacket,Inc to: P.O. Box 25094, Arlington,VA 22202. Incomplete or illegible forms or forms without correct entry fees will be returned. No confirmation will be sent. ENTRY DEADLINE: Entries must be postmarked by Friday, March 9, 2007 to qualify for the $22 fee. AWARDS: The top men and women in the 5K and 10M will
receive a pair of
Mizuno shoes. The top three overall male/female finishers will receive awards. The top three in 10-year age groups will receive awards. RANDOM PRIZES: Random prizes will be drawn at the awards ceremony. VOLUNTEERS: Call 703-486-1466 if you wish to volunteer (all volunteers will receive a T-shirt). WATER STOPS: There will be water stops on the course at 2, 3.5, 6, and 8.5 miles. REFRESHMENTS: There will be an assortment of food and refreshments after the race. DIRECTIONS: From 495 take the Dulles Toll Road exit. Take the Toll Road to the Hunter Mill road exit; go left on Hunter Mill Road to Sunrise Valley Drive to the first traffic light which will be South Lakes Drive; go left on South Lakes Drive a half mile to the school. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Due to current insurance guidelines, absolutely no race strollers or radio headphones will be allowed on the race course. |
