Grand Prix Race #7:12th Ellicott City Labor Day Running Classic 5k/10k

September 4th, 2015 By Christopher Leyen

The weather is starting to cool off as we begin looking toward October and the fall Marathon season, and that means we're starting in on the second half of the RacePacket Grand Prix series.

Our seventh race in the season, the Ellicott City 10k put on by the Knights of Columbus gives those of us in Northern VA and Washington, DC a chance to travel to a truly unique location, the Shrine of St. Anthony. Join your fellow RacePacket racers as we race around the beautiful grounds cared for by the Franciscan Friars.

Last month, we caught up with Mike Cannon, currently second in the Men's 50-59 standings, who spoke highly of the race, praising the unique location as "absolutely beautiful" and the camaraderie of the event, saying that "[even though] a couple hundred people run the race, you see everybody you know, you would think you're running at Bluemont park, and if it were not for RacePacket, you wouldn't see those runners."

Take advantage of this Labor Day weekend to join us for a unique and beautiful event.
