Volunteer for the School Board Caucus

We need plenty of volunteers to conduct the School Board Caucus on Thursday, May 1 at TJ Middle School and Saturday, May 3 at the Washington-Lee High School. We are seeking volunteers to work on Thursday from 6 to 9:30 p.m. and in four time shifts on Saturday.

Setup - 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. (if you can stay, to noon)
Shift #1 - 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Shift #2 - 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Ballot Counting - 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Volunteers preform the following tasks:

Greet voters and handout voter pledge forms.
Operate laptop computers to verify voter registrations.
Supervise ballot boxes
Monitor entrance and exit doors
Count ballots

It will take a lot of people to staff a smoothly running caucus that will reflect well on the Democratic Party. We need most of the Democratic activists in Arlington to donate their time to this event.
