Start Time: 7 a.m.
Description: Packet Pickup: Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008, 11-4, at Gotta Run, 1101 S. Joyce St, #B-12, Arlington, VA 22202. (Pentagon Row Shopping Center). Race Day at Sandburg Middle School from 6:00 to 7:15 a.m (7:45 for 5 Miler)
Bib Numbers: Numbers must be visible on front of garments at all times on course and as you cross finish line. .
No Headphones: In conformance with rules adopted by RRCA and USA Track & Field, no headphones or other electronic listening devices (other than hearing aids) are permitted. There are no exceptions, and any runners found with such devices will be disqualified and asked to leave the course.
T-Shirts: High-grade ?technical? shirts are guaranteed to all runners who pre-register by September 21, 2008.
Limited Field: Enter early! By terms of our permit with the Park Service, the size of the field is limited to 500 runners. All runners must remain in single file on the bike path and yield to pedestrians.
Time Limit for 20-Miler: Time limit for completion is 4 hours (12:00 minute per mile pace). There will be a provision for 30 ?early starters? who can complete the course in 4 hrs 30 mins. ?Early starters? must register in advance and so note on their registration. There will be no ?early start? registration at packet pick up or on race day. .
Teams: 3-person teams; each must register as individuals. Team Divisions: Open Men & Women; Master Men & Women, and Coed (at least one woman per coed team). Team leaders are responsible for scoring.

Course: scenic course on neighborhood streets and the GW Parkway bikepath.
Awards: 20 Miler: Gift certificates to top three men and women overall, and first male and female master. Five-year age-group awards for top three men and women in each group (plus the under-19 group). 5 Miler: Top 3 M and F.
