2019 Reunion

Please join your alumni officers and the undergraduate brothers of DKE from Thursday, June 6, 2019 through Sunday, June 9 at 13 South Ave. In keeping with Cornell policy, this is an non-alcohol event. Attire: Casual.

On Friday and Saturday nights, Cornell will host tent parties on the Arts Quad from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. You must purchase a "Reunion Button" to attend. You can pre-pay for your button here. New this year alumni must agree to abide by a "Reunion Code of Conduct" when registering for Reunion or purchasing the button. This is an outgrowth of a mention of Satchel Paige at the 2018 CALC in Boston. So, no discussion of the Negro Baseball League or the United Negro College Fund, please.

Thursday-Friday

We will catalog artifacts in the Library and Graselli Room.
Friday 1 p.m. depart from 13 South Ave for walking tour of 2 Fountain Pl. Friday 1:30 p.m. Tour of 2 Fountain Pl for those that do not want to walk can drive there. Friday night 6 p.m. - we will eat at Lamda Chi Alpha, 125 Edgemore Lane

Saturday

1 p.m. - Delta Chi Association Board Meeting - Phi Sigma Sigma, 14 South Ave.
3 p.m. - Annual meeting in Phi Sigma Sigma, 14 South Ave
4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. - Hard Hat House Tour with dedication military aviator plaque
4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. - Reception and buffet at Phi Sigma Sigma, 14 South Ave.
9 p.m. to 1 a.m. - tent party on the Arts Quad

On May 24, we were informed that there will be no hot water in the Deke House over Reunion Weekend. Cornell has requested us to not house any guest without hot water. Please plan on staying a Sheldon Court.

We are making rooms available in the Deke House on a first come-first served basis. You reserve your room by using this form. We are not charging for staying in the house or attending our receptions. Other than the beverages served at the Saturday reception, please do not bring drugs or alcohol into the house. Per Deke Risk Management Policy, no drinking games are allowed in the house and alcohol will not be served to people under the age of 21.

We are using Sheldon Court for overflow and they take alumni without any advanced reservations required. Non-Reunion Year housing rates for guests 13 years and older are $82 for one night, $164 for two nights, or $201 for all three nights. You can reserve a room in advance on line as a part of reunion registration.

We are asking everyone staying in the house to bring their own bedding, towels, and soap. This is not a bed-and-breakfast, and we will not provide you with anything beyond toliet paper. If you are a family or married couple, you will probably be more comfortable staying in Sheldon Court with the "non-reunion year" group. Sheldon Court provides, linens, towels, soap and shampoo and includes the "Reunion Button."
